A guide service's site built to convert browsers into booked climbers.

Sylvan Rocks has guided climbers through the Black Hills since 1989 — the region's longest-running guide service and the only AMGA-accredited outfit in South Dakota and northeast Wyoming. With four flagship locations and 300+ five-star reviews, their site needed to turn that reputation into bookings.

The challenge

A guide service booking trips across four different climbing destinations, skill levels, and group sizes needed a site that could sort visiting climbers quickly — without burying the AMGA accreditation and safety record that sets them apart from unaccredited operators.

The approach

We organized the site by destination and skill level so a visiting climber can find their trip fast, built the AMGA accreditation and safety record into the story instead of a footnote, and made the whole experience mobile-first, since most bookings start on a phone mid vacation-planning.

  • Trip and location pages organized by destination and skill level
  • Accreditation and safety credentials built into the story, not a footnote
  • Mobile-first design, since most bookings start on a phone
  • Built to keep growing on a 35-year track record and strong reviews
